Hey there!

January is just flying by... 
I wanted to send a quick e-mail with some exciting stuff!
 
First of all, this Sunday is my Hope & Peace Retreat Day. 
This day is going to be totally nourishing for the body, mind + soul for women in their 20's and 30's. 
 
We have a full day planned incorporating healthy food, herbal tea, gentle yoga, meditation, journaling, connection and a fun creative project down here on beautiful Cape Cod.

Almost two years ago I was introduced to a special young woman named Amanda. She came to me to help with her anxiety, which was holding her back from the living the life she desired. From the first e-mail and call we had, we totally clicked!

When I asked her about her dreams, she shared that one day she would love to open her own daycare since she had a passion for working with kids. I could hear her voice become excited as she talked about her dreams someday in the future… I could relate because I love the innocence...

Interesting isn’t it? How we become anxious, worried, fearful and stressed, even over small things?Where does that even get us? Usually not anywhere but unhappy, moody, overwhelmed and stuck.

I’ve been anxious ever since I can remember. I was anxious going to school, leaving my parents, speaking in front of groups, trying new things, working on projects…

And even though I have come so far from anxiety-filled days, I noticed it sneaking back up this past year.

Turmeric is an excellent spice that has many benefits both internally and externally. This simple mask uses only three ingredients and is a great facial mask to help your face glow and reduce dryness from cold weather.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons flour

1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric

2 tablespoons oil (olive or coconut oil)

Directions:

  • Mix flour and turmeric together. Add oil slowly and mix until pasty.

  • Apply to face and neck and leave on for 15-20 minutes.
