Annika was the original owner of Centerville Yoga, where I began my yoga practice and started coaching clients on Cape Cod! I've enjoyed witnessing her journey as a mom and entrepreneur this past decade. I felt honored when she came to me this summer for support through her own anxiety. We have such similar personalities (sensitive dreamers!)
I appreciate her honesty and vulnerability through our work together and sharing a bit of it here publicly.
When we returned from our family trip to California, it was time to begin the IVF process. (You can read Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 if you'd like to read the struggles and journey to this big decision!)
Once we decided to take the IVF route, I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders. I knew it would be emotional and difficult at times, but I wasn't going to be alone. My husband, John, was fully on board and we had close family and friends who prayed for us every step of the way.
When we arrive in a new year, we automatically think about the way(s) we want to change. The habits we want to shift. The goals we want to achieve.
But then we sometimes get caught up in the fear of change and don't always allow ourselves to get where we want to be. We are afraid of not fitting in. We are afraid of too much attention. We are afraid of not being loved.
We come to a crossroads many times in life where we have to make a choice. Often times this choice is HARD and we end up taking the "easier" route. Why...
My clients continue to inspire me day after day. I am so grateful to work with such heart-centered and visionary women, local and afar! I am happy to share with you a recent client interview. Angela is super passionate about empowering women with her smile and new business, Soulful of Yourself! We worked on releasing fear and finding her worth so she could help other women.
