I thought I was supposed to have energy in my early 20's, yet I found myself falling asleep early on the couch, craving sweet snacks, feeling moody and hoping the antidepressant I was taking would help. I figured this was how I was going to be for the rest of my life.
But I made big changes and have been supporting other women ever since.
And then Covid happened and I felt myself back-tracking...
I couldn't go to yoga classes, have play-dates or host events. It got a bit depressing and lonely at times, especially with a paramedic husband who isn't around much and a toddler who has had some major sleep regressions.

Can I keep my normal schedule and will I be in the bathroom a lot?This is one of the most common questions I receive. People are nervous that they’ll be at work and have to keep running to the bathroom. This is not true (unless you have major digestive issues and should consult a health professional). You will be clearing toxins from your body, but this is meant to regulate your digestion rather than cause irregularity. This is NOT a colon cleanse. You will most likely be peeing more often since you will be consuming more water through water, tea and whole foods. I would never have been able to participate in a detox if I wasn’t able to attend work and school. Although there is probably a bit more preparation than you may be used to, you will still be able to keep your normal schedule. This should teach you ways to be prepared with healthy food rather than stopping for fast food or packaged snacks. Think about how much better you’ll feel at work, school and home! You will have more focus, concentration and energy, which should make you more productive and a happier co-worker, student and family member.
I have never done anything like this. Is it okay for beginners?I'm so glad you're here. I know how intimidating and scary something new can be, especially being naturally anxious. I grew up eating junk food and not understanding my body at all. Everything changed when I did my first detox and also all the coaching I had after the fact. I have worked with many beginners and actually love to because they are the ones who usually see the most positive change! There is so much (virtual) hand-holding through this process. I am there preparing you ahead of time, doing live videos, available by email and in the Facebook group and available after we complete. If you're new to this I have one question for you: How do you feel when you think about signing up? Excited, butterflies, hopeful... Nerves are normal. But don't let the fear hold you back. Let's do this together!
What if I can't make the live videos?The scheduled will be determined before the program begins, but if you can't make it, no worries! The videos will be recorded and posted in the private Facebook group. There’s no need to re-arrange your schedule. However, if you make the live video, you have a chance to ask questions and hear other’s experiences live.
Can I have a friend join me?Yes, it’s actually a great idea to have a friend participate with you. It’s especially nice because you can each try different recipes and share so you have less preparation yourself. It will be added support and encouragement from someone else who cares about you.
I don't live on Cape Cod, can I still participate?"Of course! I am really excited to have created this as an online program for this exact reason. There are no in-person meetings and nothing to pick up from me. Everything will be e-mailed and there will be a private Facebook group. You can participate from the comfort of your own home or car. I love having participants all over the country and different time zones. It brings so much more to the experience!
I am a teenager or have a teenager who would like to participate. Is it safe?If you’ve known me for awhile, you know how much I LOVE teenagers and young adult women. I know they have a lot of stress and pressure. My dream is to inspire them to be their best selves and feel good in their bodies and minds. (Yes, I'm still nursing my 2 year old and will be participating in this program myself.) However, I recommend discussing this with your healthcare provider as I cannot tell you if it is safe or not.
