Simple Steps to Reduce Anxiety

Interesting isn’t it? How we become anxious, worried, fearful and stressed, even over small things?Where does that even get us? Usually not anywhere but unhappy, moody, overwhelmed and stuck.

I’ve been anxious ever since I can remember. I was anxious going to school, leaving my parents, speaking in front of groups, trying new things, working on projects…

And even though I have come so far from anxiety-filled days, I noticed it sneaking back up this past year.

Things have been going really well and I’m so grateful that we bought our first home, both businesses have been growing, I have quality time with friends, I travel often, I work with amazing women all over the world…

But all of a sudden it became more than I could handle. I like to have control and I started to realize everything was growing and expanding and I just couldn’t keep up with it all.

I became overwhelmed and burnt out.

I was irritated that I had to take a step back from everything I’d been working so hard on. But it was time to start taking care of me again.

If I don’t take care of me, then I can’t help anyone else, which is my mission in the world.

I’m curious, do you feel you struggle with anxiety?

If so, below are some tips I use myself and for my clients in my HOPE Method to reduce anxiety because life is too short! And if you’d love more guidance and support around your anxiety, I have a few spots open for Heartache to Hope Breakthrough Sessions in April and May.
